Deselecting "Use Typographer's Quotes" for Excel import doesn't work... unless the paragraph style is set to Language: [No Language]
TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
1. Import an Excel document that includes straight quotation marks.
2. In the Import Settings dialogue, uncheck "Use Typographers Quotes."
RESULT:
The quotation marks will be converted from straight to curly.
WORKAROUND:
1. Define a paragraph style with "Language" set to "[No Language]."
2. Create a cell style using that paragraph style.
3. Create a table style using that cell style.
4. When importing the Excel content, select that table style (as well as unchecking "Use Typographer's Quotes").
RESULT:
The straight quotation marks will not be converted.
NOTES:
• Changing the paragraph Language to [No Language] does not affect Excel content that has already been imported. Only new imports will be affected (as well as linked tables when they are updated).
• This bug does not affect Word documents. Regardless of paragraph Language, straight quotation marks in Word document imports are kept straight. I haven't tested other file types, but so far, only Excel document and/or table imports are affected.
• Credit for the [No Language] workaround goes to Laubender, who suggested it to me in this Support Community thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/bug-deselecting-quot-use-typographer-s-quotes-quot-for-excel-import-not-working/m-p/10841708#messageView2_117be70f9246da

Hi Laura,
unfortunately attaching a zip-file is not allowed.
However you could work around this and add something like .txt to the zip file's name.
Then you are able to attach the file.Downloading is no issue. Unpackaging can be done without issue after renaming the file to .zip.
