Pasteboard not centered in layout view
I'm not sure if this is the right bug category, but when trying to view spreads, no matter what view option I pick, the pasteboard is aligned right only, with lots of extra room on the left. If I scroll all the way left, the left edge of the pasteboard is about in the middle of the view area and if I scroll all the way right, nothing past the right edge of the pasteboard is visible. It should be the other way around if not centered, because at least then, all my tool panels wouldn't cover up what I need to work on, on the right side. My only work arounds are to detach and move the tool panels, or zoom in enough that panel doesn't cover up my spread, or make a giant pasteboard so that there is enough extra room on the right side. All of which are annoyances that 'bug' me. ;-)
We’ve not heard of this one before.
Could you show us a screenshot (sharewithid@adobe.com)?
Thanks,

Zoom out and search the document for any items located on the edges of the pasteboard or out of it . Delete these items or move them to near the pages and the pasteboard will adjust automatically.

Do this order..
1. Get out of full screen window (Restore)
2. frame the window so it's in the center of your monitor
3. Maximise window
4. View, Fit Spread in window -

Hey an old problem I found out how to fix. Despite the comments below, you likely have "facing pages" turned on. Turn that off via preferences > document setup.

Hello! Just go to View>Fit Spread in Window (Instead of 'Fit Page in Window') - and it should work fine!
