You have a blue bar that appears talking about endnotes, but it stretches past the edge of my screen and I can't make it go away.
I just want to be able to close bar so it isn't in my way

Same here. How do we close it?
It hides part of the document and appears to be a warning that comes up when I open an older document that uses Type 1 fonts, but then it stays and shows also on top of new documents (see screenshot) and there is no way to get rid of it again.
Unfortunately I need to open many older documents in order to copy older text into a new documents, so this is totally annoying and unneccesary.
I'm surprised that this bug has been open for 5 years!
