InDesign's "modal" built-in dialogues can show up BEHIND third party extensions, if the extension is situated in the center of the screen. The extension window can not be moved before the window from InDesign has been handled (you may have to press OK or something like that), and that window is completely hidden. When this situation occurrs, you have to force InDesign to a quit.
