Proper Full Screen Support for MacOS
It really would be helpful if the Adobe CC apps (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop et al) all did as Acrobat Pro DC does and properly implemented the MacOS full screen/split screen option.
This would allow people who use multiple and large monitors to properly designate workspace and split screens between two apps without toolbars/panels getting hidden by other apps.

This is a perfect example of why Adobe was forced to try and acquire Figma. I was amazed to find that in 2024 Adobe CC apps can't go full screen. Really? I guarantee this wouldn't take a small team more than a sprint to get this fixed but instead, you're adding bloat and AI junk no one is asking for.
Thank god the Figma acquisition fell through. Adobe would have ruined Figma within a few years.

Still doesn't work for me!
It costs so much time for me navigating windows when i work with indesign cc and acrobat cc. -

It's crucial to my workflow to view PDFs and InDesign at the same time. I would greatly appreciate this feature.

I think Adobe ran out of all excuses for not implementing this one in its apps (all apps). Full screen has been around since OS X Lion, and Adobe's apps have been on Macs since forever. What kind of "UI strategy" justifies this awkward behavior? We really need flexibility working with different screen sizes, and full screen option is great for small screens, I can't lug around a 27" display just to work in inDesign.

Recent convert to the Adobe suite. Totally unacceptable that the regular work flow doesn't function. This is costing me a lot of navigation time.

I recently switched to MacBook and I am incredibly disappointed in this issue. I used split screen regularly as a PC user and the fact that people have been complaining about this for over two years is ridiculous! Not having this feature completely ruins my ability to work while mobile on projects

Any updates on this issue?
For me, it seems it does not work.
InDesign 2022 Version.
MacBook Air.If so: A lot of creatives use apple systems, this seems extremely ridiculous.
It seems there is not enough negative user feedback to care about this issue.

Is the problem solved yet? Because it doesn't work for me either. Thanks!

Following up on this: using InDesign in its own space, especially when it is assigned to a specific space via the Dock, is very problematic. Sometimes the app is confused on where to activate windows, or the app doesn't appear to the foreground as expected.

Not supporting a major workflow feature of the platform that has been around for quite some time seems crazy. Most any other Mac app supports this properly.
This is also more appropriately reported as a bug but with fewer votes here:
