Align Content on page - not just objects or selection
It would be great to have a button panel to align to page, not just align objects or align to selection. For example when I want text or an image dead center on the page it would be great to just be be able hit a keyboard shortcut or click a button and have it align to center of page, horizontally, vertically or both. I know there's tons of ways to work around it, but it would be so nice!

This would be helpful for all of the "Align to" options! Align to Page, Align to Key Object, etc. I have been unable to find a way to create a keyboard shortcut for this task. It defaults to Align to Selection when I select my objects. So each time I have to click with my mouse to choose, Align to Page/Align to Key Object and then align them how I want (there are keyboard shortcuts for this step.) It's extremely frustrating when you have to repeat these steps with lots of objects or grouped objects.
Maybe a way to temporarily change the default "Align to" would help? Or better yet, simply keep my selected "Align to" setting until I choose to use another.

This already exists as a button in the control strip at the top. Just to the right of the alignment icons themselves.
It will appear whenever you have an object selected.
You have the option of:
Align to Selection
Align to Key Object
Align to Margins
Align to Page
Align to SpreadI have keyboard shortcuts set-up for most the alignment options. I have them tied to the numeric keyboard keys so it is easy to learn and remember which is which!
