Enable switching of pages in imported pdfs
I wish there was a way to change the page of an imported multi-page pdf instead of going to relink the image (to the same file) and selecting the page with the import options clicked. This would save me so much time. All it would require is a page up/down button in the links palette that would only be visible when a multi page pdf was linked in the document.

Over FOUR YEARS and this still hasn't been implemented. Why? Relinking multi page documents in Indesign is so slow and clunky it's embarrassing UI.

I also do this frequently -- not just for PDF documents, but for InDesign documents as well.

This would be such a fantastic feature and I know that it would make a most of the people in our studio smile. Here are a couple of use cases.
- Indesign in theory can have many, many linked documents sitting all over a server. Say you are pulling together a pitch or presentation document and pages are added or removed. The (possibly unfamiliar) user then has to place the file again and manually navigate/ search out the original. There could be 10's of revised files to choose from but even worse, a server where the work is stored could be 20 folders deep. All of these combined can and do cause pretty hefty mistakes.
I'll buy you guys a beer if you sort it. Promise!!

Yes, definitely - I do this all the time, for instance handling multi artboard illustrator files
