Enable Animated/Scrubby Zoom
Add the animated/scrubby zoom feature for PC users--it's time. It's ridiculous Photoshop and Illustrator has it, but not InDesign? Since Mac users are given tools PC users don't have, perhaps Adobe should discount our subscription fee.

Indesign not having scrubby zoom is the equivalent of tripping over a rock on an otherwise pleasant hike. Like it or not indesign is the sibling of Photoshop and Illustrator, so it needs to act the same way. I get that they all serve a different purpose, but simple things like how to zooming works NEEDs to be consistent between programs.
Adding scrubby zoom to Indesign isn't adding feature, it's more that not having it is intentional annoyance.

Such a big quality-of-life issue that may not seem like much, but when you add up the time it saves it can make the difference for making a deadline. This feature already exists in Illistrator and Photoshop for windows, and it exists in nearly every Adobe program on mac. There's not a good reason I can think of as to why this feasture shouldn't be made available.

Illustrator has it, and Photoshop has it, so why not InDesign? Come on, Adobe, please make the animated zoom available to Windows users... It's about time, we waited long enough.

It's a must. Animated zoom is so much comfy and more dynamic, no need to select any area, click alt to reduce and go crazy, just click and drag as simply as that.

I started to learn InDesign today, and first thing I learned is that it doesn't have scrubby zoom. In 2023? How that is even possible?
My frustration with Adobes inability to fix basic UI issues across their product line is getting unbearable. I wish they would concentrate on basics for a while, instead of AI toys.

How is this still not a feature after all these years? Infuriating for Windows users to have scrubby zoom in two essential programs, but have it disabled in the third when you KNOW the tech is there and more than capable of being implemented

Knock knock Adobe, it's us, the paying customers. You figured this out in other Adobe apps on Windows, why are you treating Indesign as it was your stepchild?

Please, It is very important to have animated zoom in Indesign, it makes the workflow very fast and fluid, and especially when you have been using it for years in other Adobe apps, like Illustrator and Photoshop.
