Object Styles for Generated Captions
It would be really helpful when generating captions to be able to assign an object style in addition to a paragraph style. (Even better if there were multiple caption styles to choose from...)

It would be a huge time saver. Since the text frames for auto generated captions must touch the picture frame the text must either have a baseline offset or a margin in the text frame. But since text frames cannot be automatically formatted the only option is a baseline offset, which is messy.

Object styles for captions seems such a no-brainer I just went looking for how to do it, assuming it was an option somewhere. Could largely replace the paragraph styles option IMO as you can set the paragraph style in the object style settings...
