Turn off 'missing fonts' alert
A setting (with no docs open) that says "don't alert me to missing fonts" when I open a doc. It would be just like the "don't ask me about missing links" setting - which we like in the studio. Because sometimes we need to check lots of docs for something (could be a house style thing, a find-replace thing, a colour check thing etc) but don't want to be 'font-alerted' at this stage. The warning seems too pedantic when we're nowhere near final production stages...

This drives me NUTS. Please also disable the missing font pop-ups that appear in real time while working. The only time I ever need this alert is when packaging!
Actually, please allow the option to disable ALL pop-ups in Adobe, especially after an update. I'm not a baby, I know how to find out what's new if I want to. Don't force it on me when I'm trying to work!

This is a must but I guess as long as Adobe has their own Font Management system, this is never going to happen.

In recent updates of InDesign, if I open a file that has one or more fonts missing, I get a beach ball cursor for 10-15+ seconds and either I eventually get the dialog box showing which font(s) is missing or InDesign remains non-responsive until I force quit it.

Yep, This sucks the life out of my design process. Still waiting for a solution.

Yes! This is crazy making. Especially when it has to search fonts.adobe.com and it's horrifically slow.

Yes it takes forever, sometimes, for ID to scan through a long file looking for missing fonts and then checking to see if ithey're on Adobe Fonts.

That obnoxious blue band that is totally in the way? Infuriating!
OK ADOBE I GET IT, YOU'RE TRYING TO CORNER THE MARKET ON FONTS.
Can you get out of my interface?! I hate blue but I'm forced to have it on my screen while I'm working for hours. I can't move it out of my way, and yes, it is in my way. And the only way to get rid of it is to purge some of my favorite fonts from EVERY SINGLE document I've ever created? OMG that's insane.
What genius decided to send a message two years ahead of time and then make a permanent part of the interface? TAKE IT AWAY!!!

Yes, this is a meaningless appearance.
It should be able to set whether to disappear -

This is indeed badly needed. There are days when I have to dismiss the missing-font dialogs many times, and it gets very tedious.

Please add an option in the preferences that enables the user to ignore missing fonts when opening a document. It's possible to disable notification of missing images -- please do the same for fonts.
Reason: I often get documents from customers and don't have the fonts. Dismissing the dialogs that tell me that the document I'm opening contains missing fonts gets tedious. I easily dismiss the dialogs dozens and dozens of times.
