Google search in Indesign
Hi!
I want to be able to make a google-search from within an indesign-article/-text, by marking a word/phrase, right click and end up in the web browser with a search result based on my marking in Indesign. That couldn’t be to difficult to script, but a huge help.

Enable the deletion of button rollover state once it's been created
Once you've created a button AND applied a rollover state, you can't currently delete it. I know you can "hide" it, and I know you can convert the button back to an object, but I want the ability to delete the rollover state once it's been created. Similar to a multi-state object, it would be great if we can delete the rollover state (like you can do with individual states in an MSO).

COMMAND + "O"
COMMAND + "O" to open a new file. It works in other Adobe programs but not InDesign for some reason? SOOOOO simple you'd think.

I hope to Index "Index entry", "page reference" and "Yomi" CSV export Feature.
Currently, the Japanese version does not sort as expected and the indexing function is difficult to use.
It would also reduce the difficulty of indexing in multi-person operations.索引の「項目」「ページ番号」「読み」をCSVで書き出せるようにして欲しい。
現状、日本語版はソートが期待通りいかず、索引機能が使いづらいものとなっている。
また、複数人の作業における索引作成の困難も軽減してくれると思われる。9 votes -
Right Click on object -> Move/Copy it to any Layer
Sometimes when you want to move or copy an object from one layer to another, it can become a bit cumbersome if you're working with a lot of layers and those layers themselves have a lot of files.
So my suggestion is to add a menu shortcut when you right click on any object to move that object to any available layer.

Collaborative Work + Multiple Users Opening the Same File Simultaneously
We need a collaborative environment inside InDesign. We use InD for Proposals and document repositories. We have manually created a library of graphics and text that we use as standard content across multiple documents. We have a team that is constantly asking for access to the file. The lack of version history reverting and tracking makes this a nightmare on top of the fact that only one person can have the file open at a time. Create a shortcut after a program update
When InDesign (or any other Adobe app is updated), I have to find the old shortcuts, delete them, hunt for the new program version and manually create a new shortcut and pin it to the taskbar. Is there a way to automate this or make it easier? Can it be done in CC?
