   The number of Federal and State Government employees (including STEM workers) in the U.S. alone that are required to make all documents 508-compliant should be enough to make it a priority to fix accessibility issues in your products.    Designers...in all publication fields--including STEM publications--need to be able to apply graphics, labels, etc. in any geographical spot on a page. This is a basic function that we shouldn't have to petition for.
