    This is regarding the comments where our users are still facing the issue.
    Please note that this particular fix caters to the scenario where the UI of InDesign won’t show up even if the app has been launched successfully.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
    We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3

    Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    Multiple times since updating to Adobe InDesign CC 2019, the program has opened in a very small window with the close/minimize/expand buttons that should be in the upper right in the upper left of the window. (See attached file Adobe ID 1.)

    At that point I can only minimize or make the window full screen. When I try to pull full screen to my other monitor it instead minimizes to the taskbar. When I click on it to fullscreen again, it comes up with two sets of close/minimize/expand buttons. (See Adobe ID 2 picture attached)

    It finally will go to full size if I close it and re-open it.

    I am the original poster of this issue and am working on a brand-spanking-new laptop and IT IS STILL HAPPENING.

    It is document and time agnostic. (Happens in different files and after working in the file after different amounts of time.)

    Using InDesign CC 2018

    This happens regularly, though there doesn't seem to be specific steps to reproduce:

    Open a ID file
    Select an object - for example a rectangle
    Open Swatches panel and try to scroll down list using scroll bar to pick a color
    Sometime cannot click on scroll bar and mouse movement up/down moves list but cannot get to swatch desired
