Hello All,
Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.
If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

The shortcut is only broken if you use it with no document open, if there is a document already open it works fine.

We have been able to improve the performance with span columns but it is till work in progress.Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the incremental fix.

The issue reported is at Apple’s end.
Hence, Apple is recommending to update macOS to 10.15.x version in order to resolve this issue.Please update your macOS to Catalina. If you still face this issue in macOS 10.15 do add your comment in this thread.

LG ULTRAWIDE:
Resolution: 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD - Ultra-Wide Quad HD)
UI Looks like: 3440 x 1440 @ 60 Hz
ThunderboltCintiq 27QHDT:
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 (QHD/WQHD - Wide Quad High Definition)
UI Looks like: 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz
ThunderboltI can capture this behavior in a screen recording, and I have attached the video.
This behavior becomes quite strobe like in some situations.
—Using 30Hz is not an option
