Hi,
Thank you for reporting the issue. We are currently investigating the issue and updated the status in the Uservioce thread. However, the issue is still not reproducible in-house and we need additional information
- Screenshot of Memory usage while the issue is observed
- Is the "Contextual Task bar" shown? If yes, Disable it from "Window->Contextual Task bar"

It literally takes two seconds now to begin to select text, or to switch from one tool to another. I'm using an iMac with 32 GB of RAM and a i9 processor. This version of InDesign is hot garbage.

It's immediately slow, and all the time. Even after a fresh restart of the whole computer. I noticed it was unusable garbage after one minute of use. You cannot expect us to believe you thoroughly tested this cr@p before you sent it out the door and didn't notice the issue.
