I get an error message that InDesign cannot open a file because it was created in a newer version and I am told I need to update. My updates are automatic and InDesign is actually up to date. The problem occurs when I double click a file in a folder, expecting InDesign to automatically open, with the file visible. InDesign does, in fact, open automatically - but it opens an older version, which should not be there! I have tried changing the app in which *.indd files should open, but it makes no difference.
