pdf export failure background task
hello,
my indesign (19.4) doesn't want to export the pdf file for print, which is really annoying.
1) all photos are cmyk;
2) all colors are cmyk;
3) if i export the pdf in pages as separate files, it works.
otherwise no can do. pic attached.
it is the second project this situation occurs and the first time the workaround was to save the file again, with another name, then work with this new copy.
also i mention that the indesign file seems very large (177 mega), although it has 42 pages only... may be some pics are big and cannot be rendered properly? i attach a pic from the folder where i exported the pages as pdf files separately. there are pdf having over 300 mega!! crazy.
i would like to know what's going on... indesign bugs? too large pictures from my side, difficult to render in pdfs for print?

...i've just noticed that the issue is solved by changing the compression settings from "do not downsample" to "downsampling to" pdf exports well. so, most likely, the issue is due to the (way too) large files i used in my indesign project.
