Indesign 2022 closes randomly
Since the application updated to version 17, I rarely get to work. After a few seconds open, it simply closes.

Have watched the computer, and it's not https://nail-salonsnearme.com/ related to AppNap, or sleep/hibernate status, or energy saver settings. These all reset to defaults, but still happens.

I can't remember the last time I actually quit the app. Running MacOS Big Sur (11.6), InDesign 17.0.1. It can quit when I'm actively working or when it's idle. Reverting to the older version may be my best option.

Same issue. Mac OS Big Sur (11.6.1), InDesign 17.0.1. Extensis Suitcase Fusion (22.0.0 (10183) )
Seems to be unrelated to inDesign prefs, Caches, where the document is stored (i.e. SMB network volume or local volume) etc.
Have tried uninstalling inDesign (and creative cloud for that matter), removing all prefs (and resetting prefs to defaults) but it makes no difference.
If we can save a crash report, we'd submit it. But you don't even SEE a crash report!

Interesting that it won't crash when you have no document open (welcome screen). Creating a new document and leave it idle - crashes between 10 - 30 minutes later.
Re-opening Indesign, reveals the document you've been working on (obviously from from recovery data).
Any suggestions from anyone else would be appreciated...

Same problem here, I have reverted to V16.4.
