My InDesign 2021 (version 16.0.1) shows the "spinning ball" every time an image is placed into the graphics box, as well as when duplicating, copying, pasting the image box (with an image inside), as well as when updating the image in the graphics box. The "spinning ball" is shown every time for 11 seconds. However, the image type (psd, tiff or eps / ai / pdf) does not matter. Working with such a performance bug is very difficult. Adobe, I demand to fix this as soon as possible!
