Today, using 15.1.1 for Mac, I did not have that problem. However a document I'd been working on for hours, and saving diligently about every ten minutes, just vanished. ID crashed, and when it re-opened it told me it could not locate any alias for files I had open when it crashed. Amazing. The icon was gone from the folder it had been in, and trying to open it from the File/Open Recent just got an alert that said basically the alias is gone. NEVER had this happen before with any application. I am stunned and very concerned that I can't trust ID. I have another ID project that I'm working on now which, if it had been that file, I don't know what I'd do. But it feels lousy not being able to trust ID. I suppose I will periodically save a copy of the file I'm working on to my desktop and then go back to the original and continue, though unsure if even that desktop file is secure in the event of a crash. I'm not a whiz at this stuff, but do know ID itself pretty well. VERY upset tonight.

What is wrong with your software? 64 gig of ram and Indesign super slow!!!
I dont want a sugar coated answer. If nobody there can give an answer to a huge issue with your software, (just google adobe slow for multiple examples of failure in your software), We will cancel our CC Subscription.

Had same kind of issue. Fixed by changing SSD hard drive and upgrading the memories from 8 to 32GB. My 2017 iMac 21,5" could not run anymore with old memory and HD.

Bonjour, cela fait 20 n'as que j'utilise InDesign mais depuis 2 ans avec la nouvelle version CC . C'est devenu un calvaire de travailler avec cette application.
Faîtes quelque chose de sérieux avant que je me tourne vers autre chose... ça devient insupportable.

La réponse ne peut pas être désactiver des application tierce comme suit case et font explorer, ces applications sont indispensables avec Indesign.

Donnez moi une solution pérenne. merci
