InDesign performance issues: text tool
InDesign performance issues (version 15.1.1 x64 - 32GB RAM installed - Win 10 - Adobe Creative Cloud).
From the previous version the Text tool slows down the program considerably; it is not possible to work with at least two open files (I work with multiple open files, never a problem).
So the work is very slow !!! Please provide a solution. Thank you!

PROBLEM SOLVED: I DELETED THE "FONT FOLDER" FROM THE DOCUMENT FOLDER
From the Adobe support community, I found the answer to my problem and solved it.
My big and distressing problem is that InDesign slows down considerably when using the text tool between at least two open files (copying and pasting even a word from one file to another has become impossible). Any operation like this drove me crazy for months slowing down the work.
Among the verie indications of the Adobe Community I have tried many of the proposed solutions but none have solved my problem. Then I made a last attempt where it is proposed to delete the "Fonts folder" from the document folder.
I did this test and magically InDesign now works fine; I can work as before, no slowdown in performance and I can copy and paste between files without problems.
It sounds crazy but it is to me. -

Update: I found that version 15.0.3 x64 Also resolved the problem and doesn't require that I convert my files. For me, this is an acceptable workaround for now.

I installed an older version 14.03 x64 and the issue has gone away. Unfortunately, I have to convert my files to open them.
