Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI have a big problem with InDesign CC2018. When I export any PDF document from INDD, the PDF files are successful while the INDD program crashes and I have to restart it every time.
You lose a lot of time for this inconvenience; It never happened in previous versions of the program. There is a solution for this?
PROBLEM SOLVED: I DELETED THE "FONT FOLDER" FROM THE DOCUMENT FOLDER
From the Adobe support community, I found the answer to my problem and solved it.
My big and distressing problem is that InDesign slows down considerably when using the text tool between at least two open files (copying and pasting even a word from one file to another has become impossible). Any operation like this drove me crazy for months slowing down the work.
Among the verie indications of the Adobe Community I have tried many of the proposed solutions but none have solved my problem. Then I made a last attempt where it is proposed to delete the "Fonts folder" from the document folder.
I did this test and magically InDesign now works fine; I can work as before, no slowdown in performance and I can copy and paste between files without problems.
It sounds crazy but it is to me.
