InDesign 2020 - I can no longer get automatic page numbers. When I insert special characters>marks>current page number on the master page, it inserts two 'ss' and won't insert an 'A' for the page number? I have copied an automatic page number from an old file and pasted it into this new one I'm working on, and it works OK. Has anyone else got any experience of this? What's your work around or solution?
