"Shin Dot" and "sin Dot" does not work
On Mac, InDesign version 15.1.1 - typing the Unicode character "Shin Dot" and "sin Dot" does not work with the keyboard, only with the glyphs panel
Hi,
Did it work in previous versions of InDesign? Or only started happening after InDesign 15.1.1?
Which font are you using?

This issue also seems to never have been resolved.

So there's the info you need.
Happening for years, in any hebrew font, and used to work.
Please right your wrongs and fix what you broke. -

It used to work when indesign me was written by winsoft.
In the very first version of indesign just after adobe "took it back" from winsoft this was promptly broken.
So it must be about 10+ years now that it doesn't work. But I am old enough to remember when it did work.
I've been struggling, and even had someone write a script for me to work around this.
High time you guys fixed this. -

Yes, and also Vav Holam (Shift Vav) and Vav Shuruk (Alt Vav) don't work either. It all happens on the Mac Catalina.
