Indesign publish online page transitions not working
When I publish online from InDesign, any page transitions that have been applied to pages do not work. The pages simply appear. All animations work well, but the page push that I set as a transition does not work. Hopefully someone has a solution for this? If I use a plugin like in5 I can get the desired effect. Hopefully Adobe can add the same functionality that In5 has. Here is a sample from in5 that has the correct page transition: https://rudilouw.com/rotspoel/ You can drag from side to side and slide the pages.

Problem with page transitions in pdf only show (or actually don't show :-) on Mac, since Big Sur. On Window-OS page-transition still work.

For the first time trying to add more interactive features to my pdfs for online view. I was so excited to see that there was a page transition option - but then when I tried it, it doesn't work. And I have no idea how to install a plugin. Why include it in the latest release of indesign if it doesn't function.
ETA: Thanks for the workaround of adding ?transition - at least it has the slide function! Thank you Andrea.

I'm having the same issue, thanks for the tip Andrea, that worked on my end but doesn't use the intended transition. I added Fade Ins but the ?transition fix makes them all slide in. Do you know how to make sure it retains the intended style of transition?

Once you publish the document with Publish Online - add a ?transition at the end of the link. It will make it work.
