screen blacks out momentarily (flickers, blinks, flashes, etc) in InDesign CC 14.0.2
How do I stop this, it i is very distracting

Same for me, after waking up my computer, either one of two things happens:
1. The document I had open will be blank, as in, the whole page in the document doesn't appear within the InDesign window
2. The content is there, but everything flicker when I scroll around the page -

any time I click on anything with my mouse, the screen flashes white until I un-click
