InDesign 14.0.1; Windows 10

I was experiencing some major lag when typing text, up to 30 seconds. Even when text started to appear, words would appear only one letter at a time with significant delay in between. The problem then expanded to selecting and moving objects around on a page. InDesign for me has been unusable for the past few hours (Jan. 25, 2019 from 1:30 - 4:30pm EST). I even tried reverting back to version 14.0 and had no luck. Rebooted several times. I then went into my system restore and saw that earlier today a Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable update was installed. I restored my computer to the state it was in prior to this event, since everything was working for me before, and voila. Seems to be working again as expected.

Not sure the update was, in fact, the culprit, but figured I'd mention it here to help others or to help with a future fix. :)
