Oswald Book Font Installed on Windows but doesn't work in InDesign
I am using InDesign CC 14.0 for Windows 7 and I am having trouble with a font called Oswald. I have 3 fonts from the family Oswald installed on my computer (book, light, and bold). However, Oswald Book does not work in InDesign. It works in Illustrator and Microsoft Word so it appears to be an InDesign issue rather than a font installation issue.

I have a similar problem with InDesign CC 14.0.3 for macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. I downloaded Oswald from Google Fonts with 6 weights, but my .indd files only shows one weight as "Regular", but is actually Light. Not sure if it's a problem with the .ttf files or with the program. I've tried the same on another mac and had not problem at all...
