Error when exporting to Adobe PDF (Interactive)
Indesign v14.0
Mac OS x 10.13.6
Choose File > Export > Format select: Adobe PDF (Interactive) > click 'Save' > Click 'Export' > Error appears above 'Generating PDF' modal window.
Error reads: "Failed to Export the PDF file." no code or explanation. See screenshot

Issue as described in the thread is not faced by the user. Therefore, closing the issue

In my 14.0.1 version, there is no longer a preset available for Interactive PDF! I cannot make an interactive PDF! WTF? My client is waiting....

It was caused by overlaid objects with transparency that were set to multiply. I believe editing the file and updating inDesign fixed it.

Turns out that it's ALL export options that don't work. Not just the one PDF setting, Can't even export a JPEG!
