Font appearance issues in Id 2018
I have recently purchase a new Mac. Running High Sierra 10.13.2 and Id 2018. Any time I open a file with Helvetica in it the font is garbled. Is this one of the issues that people have been experiencing with the upgrade to High Sierra? How can this be fixed?
I can't downgrade my operating system as the computer is brand new and I need to use this computer for work. Any help would be much appreciated.

I had similar problems when using Apple iBooksAuthor. I also used an older version of FontExplorer. To fix the problem temporarily, I quit Font Explorer and the cleaning the font cache.
Clean the font cache might be also a solution for you problem.
