While outputting a PDF or some other process that can take some time, I often switch to a different task -- but InDesign will make itself pop to the front multiple times partway through the process, usually without any input needed from me. Is necessary to switch back to the other program I am using again and again. The disruption wastes time and sometimes causes problems because I was in the middle of typing or moving the cursor when the window unexpectedly switches.
