I cannot find an option to do this, and Googling it results in no results.

I often find myself using the Effects options, especially Drop Shadow, on my text and arrows when creating user guides. I like to use very specific settings when doing so, and I like it to be consistent across the entirety of my manuals. However, I have to manually enter these settings in when creating new text boxes or objects, and I cannot find a way to make it so that my desired settings are saved for later use. It would be very useful and time saving to myself and the company I work for if there was an option to simply set my default preferences for various effects, and then not have to change them again unless I want a change.
