Please make System fonts invisible in the Font menu list
Giving the possibility to delete those countless system fonts that come with MacOS Catalina from the font menu would be simply wonderful and a great feature.. They're way too many, they're useless and they disturb my workflow.

Yes please. I'd already be happy if I could hide all non-latin-character fonts with one click. Unfortunately you can only sort by appareance in InDesign.

Might also be helpful to "Go to the Source" and give feedback to Apple as well. This wouldn't be an issue if Apple moved nonessential fonts out of the protected part of the OS and allowed us control over which fonts we want installed like in the "old days". Maybe if they hear from enough users they might change their thinking on this as well. One can hope...

Agreed 100% This list grows every OS update and is becoming almost unusable unless you create a favourites filter in the character menu as a workaround. I imagine if the clever Adobe devs could maybe look at enlarging this feature to hide the unwanted ones that a user has NOT chosen/activated it would be great? If not there are a few developers out there who are aware of this in the Apple forums (Kurt Lang, for instance, is very knowledgeable on this subject) and they have started to work on it to get it into Apple as an API. Unsure how that has gone though.

Either Apple needs to sort this out of respect for designers or Adobe will do it for them hopefully. This has to be the most requested feature from a Mac user.

Yes!!!! Need a way to block Mac OS System Fonts in Adobe product menus. Apple has taken user choice away from us. Please Adobe, give it back to us.

I would settle for the possibility to hide them, it is incredibly annoying to scroll through 100+ fonts to find the few I've activated to try out in my design.
