'Text-color' as a swatch option in Paragraph Shading and Paragraph Borders
Would allow you to apply a swatch change (manually or via a character style) to the text and have it propagate to the border/shade.
As an example - it would be good if you've got a black boxed number, that takes the border from the paragraph border and you want to overlay it on a dark image, and so switch the text colour to white.

It would be very handy for setting up a character style where you're applying a colour to a numbered heading (or a bullet list). At the moment, if you apply a colour character style to a numbered heading, the number doesn't change colour. If you could set up a 'text colour' character style and apply it in Bullets and Numbering/Numbering Style, the number would then take the new colour.

This is the kind of feature you seldom find out doesn't work quite like the rest. While I can understand there might be some technical challenges involved, it does seem like an afterthought. Any update on this Adobe?
