INDESIGN EPUB REFLOWABLE not exporting spaces between pages and text
ERROR/BUG INDESIGN EPUB REFLOWABLE:
There is an error that the reflowable EPUB does not export the spaces between pages and texts.
This implies that you must go to other software to do so.

No one from your technical team could solve this yet.

I know this is old, but posting in case it comes up in somebody's google search:
The problem is that html ignores blank spaces including blank lines, which is why the space disappears in the epub. Two ways to fix it:
1) Quick and dirty: Use a soft return (shift+enter) instead of a hard return (enter) to push the paragraph down.
2) Best practice: Add space between paragraphs using the paragraph style instead of hitting enter. -

Hey yall I will thank my teacher for this everyday, because there's this lovely thing called a "soft return".
It is used in place of a clasic return. (The button you use to create space between titles and paragraphs.)
The easiest way to accomplish this change is to turn on hidden characters.
You'll see all the 'P's along the sides.
Simply click where you see a 'p', highlight it to save you time, and hit Shift-Return.
It will make this line instead of the 'p'!Truely simple!

This problem has been dragging on for months if not years! Is it possible InDesign cannot be improved?!
