Adobe Indesign Imposition feature for printing
Could and or does InDesign have an Imposition feature for printing multiple pages on one sheet of A4 / A3 paper?

Yes, absolutely.
For example, when printing 90 x 55 mm badges with one badge per page. It would be necessary to be able to print multiple badges on A4 or A3 paper without the original format being altered, as it is when using the "thumbnails" option.

You can use "Print Booklet" at the end of the file menu. It’s not perfect, but for most non-print-professional tasks it is quite useful.
