I request crop overlays option in InDesign Picture Boxes for positioning placed images with more design precision. As is done with Lightroom and Photoshop crop overlays, e.g., Golden Ration, rule of thirds, Golden Spiral, etc.

The crop overlays in Photoshop (and Lightroom) are extremely useful to my workflow, and to the workflow of my consulting clients. I create the perfect crop. If they are so important to have added them to both Lightroom and to Photoshop, why not also add them to InDesign, where the placement is key, and the image crop can be effectively undone or ruined by the page layout designer?
