The crop overlays in Photoshop (and Lightroom) are extremely useful to my workflow, and to the workflow of my consulting clients. I create the perfect crop. If they are so important to have added them to both Lightroom and to Photoshop, why not also add them to InDesign, where the placement is key, and the image crop can be effectively undone or ruined by the page layout designer?

This can be done already by exporting as a PDF with Convert Options: Convert to Destination.
AND, there are SEVERAL GREAT REASON NEVER to convert to CMYK—even in a CMYK Print flow.
