Show number of occurrences in Find/Change
It would be great if in the Find/Change panel, when you look for something, InDesign tells you the number of occurrences that search appears in the document (in a similar way Microsoft Word does in the Find Panel)

My version of Find/Change by List has the ability to undo in one step and it also writes a message to the screen telling the number of changes made. TrainingOnsite.com

Exactly what I wanted to suggest. Instead, we have to go through the process & if the number of changes doesn't match what we were expecting, we have to undo & go through one by one. It would save 2 steps of doing & undoing.
Further, not only does Word do it (as previously mentioned) but Acrobat also does it - should be a no-brainer for Indd.

Knowing the number of instances of a search term would be very helpful!
Especially when troubleshooting a file --it helps to know how many times something occurs and decide on a path forward given the prevalence.
