Add Custom Commands with Custom Shortcuts to Keyboard Shortcuts Menu
There are certain actions that I'd like to create shortcuts for, but the commands for them aren't listed in the Keyboard Shortcut Menus. For example, setting a keyboard shortcut for the various aligning objects. Aligning text is an option, though. Not what I need.
Everyone's workflow is different. There are commands that I'll just never use. So, freeing up individuals with the ability to create custom commands, which can be suited to their unique workflow would immensely help individual/company productivity. Custom workspaces exist, custom keyboard shortcut sets exist, let's have custom commands too!

Still an issue in 2024. I'm setting up an InDesign profile on a Loupedeck, and there are a bunch of functions I'm not able to access via keyboard shortcuts -- text wrap, most of the object pinning options, optical margin alignment, and a bunch more. If it's on a menu or has a button, we should be able to assign a shortcut to it.

Did you check the 'Object editing' section under 'Poduct area' dropdown at the Keyboard Shortcuts panel? It can be tricky to find some deep options (a search field would certainly be welcome!) , but they should pretty much all be there.
And if you happen to be tech savvy: an Indesign script can deal with everything, like a sequence of actions.

Yes please! I'm trying to set a custom view point I like for my monitor and all I have to choose from are 50%, 200% and 400%
