ID - Lock option - color fields / color groups
Hey there,
i wish i could lock color fields / color groups to prevent any resulting sources of error.
For example a fixed logo color which shouldn't be different.

Hi Eric,
you already can do this today.
Under the hood this feature is already there. It ever was. At least for InDesign CS4 version 6 and above.
But it's quiet a hack and involves editing an IDMS file or an IDML package to get a new color that is not removable and/or not editable.Background: See into page 265 of the idml-specification.pdf with Schema Example 96. Color for available attributes.
