Document Open Window/pane.
Document Open pane. The break up of recent, earlier and older documents is confusing. I'd prefer it to alphabetical order.

When am open a new document: the window for a new doc is open but its empty; I can not adjust any parameters

Well, it really should be ADJUSTABLE -- which it now is. You can sort by Name, Last Opened, Size, or Kind.
... although something happened recently, and now ALL my documents are listed as 6 days old. That should be impossible. I'll file a bug.
