I had an idea which could be applied to all of the applications. Essentially the idea is for a 'smart' button.
Often when I'm diving in and out of the interface I miss clicking on a button, sometimes repeatedly. What if the button had a 'snap to' effect, this could be set with a variable through preferences. It could be set to 1 pixel or 100.
This could be toggled on and off utilising a short cut. So you could activate it for different methodologies. It could also be disabled completely.

It would allow for faster and smoother interfacing. However it's maximum would have to consider button overlap.
