InDesign Encoder
Hi fellows and Adobe Community?
I work every day on Adobe softwares like Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and also on Premiere Pro and After Effect.
Today, I would like to point something and I let you join this conversation and leave comments.
One thing I really appreciate with Premiere and After, is that I can still work on my projects while I'm exporting videos or animations in Media Encoder. One thing I don't really like using InDdesign, is that when I'm doing an export file, PDF or JPG or whatever, I cannot keep going work in InDesign.
Hey Adobe crew. Is there any upgrade or development scheduled for InDesign to implement the same kind of extension as Media Encoder is for Premiere and After?
This would be really nice to put the files we want to export, in a list and keep working on our other projects.

Bastian Saris is right. But I undertand the poster to have this feature also extend to e.g. Printing. Where is the problem: While the postscript-pdf-background-task is keeping a hidden plain file, which is unchanged while I start to alter the current document. This could be true to printing, and continue working.

What version of InDesign are you using? i can keep on working while exporting since it's running as an background task.
