Save for web
Why don't you implement a "save for web feature" like in illustrator or photoshop? It would be very useful to export assets for web starting from layout designed in Indesign.
Thanks!

Agree! My team has exported from Indesign, and also from photoshop, and 90% of the time you can see the difference in the image quality. A save for web in indesign should open in photoshop, maintain the crop from the indesign object, and open the same save for web dialog box in photoshop.

I agree! An export to html/css function would be very helpful. Like the "create Package..." menu option, but for the web. With an assets subfolder containing all the images used/linked in the indd file.

Would love this! We almost always build our web assets in indesign because A) we are usually adapting them from pre-existing print campaigns built in InDesign and B) For 90% of the designs we create, InDesign is just an easier tool to use than Illustrator or Photoshop. But when it comes to exporting, right now we're stuck with the very limited JPG/PNG export settings, which yield larger than necessary files sizes, or we have to export at high-quality and then web-optimize them later with a different program. Would be much easier if a true save-for-web was built-in.
