Make Table preview faster
Complex tables are REALLY low to preview in InDesign. I have a table 45 rows by 7 columns, and if I nudge it, it takes 5 seconds to preview. Then I nudge again... another 5 seconds. This SLOW table preview has been happening on all kinds of documents, for years. Please speed it up.

Agreed. I pay $80 bucks a month for the goddamn adobe suite and I have tons of tables in my document. It has been EXTREMELY slow, while premiere runs smooth as silk on my brand new computer system with 4k video files.
I've done everything I can to cut corners in indesign, to the point that it's compromising my project.
Adobe, you NEED to get your shit together with Indesign. Seriously. Another company will overtake this stupid program one day and you'll regret not fixing these issues. Indesign being slow and shitty is a running joke, and as a company you should be looking into improving the performance of your products and making your customer's lives easier, NOT harder.

I have an annual publication that I have been typesetting in InDesign for at least 15 years. It includes a chapter that has around 155 pages of tables, one table of 60 rows, 15 columns per page. In the beginning, preview was very slow but this improved and from around CS6 up to CC2017, and I could work on this document with reasonable efficiency. I find upon opening in CC2018 the file from last year (set up in CC 2017) that perfomance has deteriorated markedly, to the extent that it now takes over 30 seconds merely to advance from one spread to the next. Other operations are equally, and unacceptably, slow. Using 'Fast Display' improves performance somewhat—over 10 seconds to advance from one spread to the next—but at the type sizes I am using makes the material very hard to read.
