Add run-in footnotes
Add run-in footnotes, so multiple footnotes could be on the same line to save space (instead of every footnote starting on a new line)

I have a 2000 page Bible in 27 files that would save 100 pages with this feature as there are over 8000 footnotes. When we combine the files to make a one volume Bible we'll have to use a different program unless InDesign adds this feature.

In some cases, handy idea if it's not confusing for the readers...

This is a much needed features. I cannot tell you how much business I give to *non-Indesign-typesetters* because I have some projects that need this and you don't adequately support it.

This would save me thousands of hours on both academic and bible work that I do too!

Academic publishing in disciplines (e.g., Classics) that display a lot of short citations would find this useful.

@Adobe: Could you please update whether this can be fixed in InDesign quickly?

this would be massively helpful for bible designers like me where many of the footnotes are only a few words long and space needs to be clawed back where ever I can find it!
