I'd love to be able to rearrange blank document presets in InDesign.
The four options that show on the new document popup are presets that I'll never ever have to use (Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Letter-Half).
I'd much rather re-order the presets to show A3, A4, A5, A6 first etc.

Got this worked out! Not a bug but Frame Fitting options set unknowingly by someone else working in the file.

This is now also happening when directly placing an asset onto a page. New video attached:

Seconded. Video shows linked object in frame doesn't snap/smart guides don't work when in the group.
However, when ungrouped, it works fine.
Smart guides should work irrespective of group

+1. I never need the full path for a link, but I ALWAYS need the link title, to locate images that are saved into different folders, online or on servers etc.

219 votesThis is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking.Rob supported this idea ·

Please mention the version of InDesign you’re seeing this issue with.
Also, if you could share a couple of sample EPS files, it would be great. Please send these to sharewithID@adobe.com—

It's happening in the latest InDesign 2022 (and in InDesign 2021), and I've noticed it happens when the link is rotated (mine is rotated 90 degrees)
