    Hello All,

We have concluded our investigation into the issue and found that the issue is specific to few versions of MacOS 10.14.×.
As a part of our investigation we had reached out to many of you, where many of you have confirmed that the issue gets resolved after upgrading to MacOS 10.14.5.

    Note:
If you are NOT using MacOS 10.14.5 and still facing this issue, please upgrade your MacOs to 10.14.5 version.
In case you continue to face the same issue after the upgrade, you may reach out to us at sharewithid@adobe.com.

For any other problem related to packaging workflows please create a new thread.

We are closing this thread for now.

Thank you for your patience all this while.

Dear Adobe I am unable to package an Indesign document that needs to go to Printing now.
In the Package there are "64 links found and 0 missing". I then get a pop up saying "Indesign could not package the document. cannot copy necessary links".
I wondered if it has to do with links from Apple photo? I most of the times was unable to access the photos from apple photos.
This unfortunately renders Indesign completely useless for me.

Pretty much every time I open InDesign I can not use the shortcuts.
This in combination with the immense lags almost makes this software unusable - and users are forced to pay 60 Euros a month for this. More and more using freebie software like Google docs or keynote, though these has some serious limitations they still provide an uninterrupted workflow. And I know I will be able to keep dead lines and deliver what ned for clients. Adobe really turned into a joke..

    Hello All,

Following up on the comments stating that the issue is yet not fixed, we did our investigation and found that, the issues being called out in the comment section, though maybe relevant but are different than the one for which this thread was originally created.

This particular thread caters to a very specific case which has been fixed in the last update of InDesign.

If you continue to face performance related issues with InDesign, we sincerely request you to create a separate thread so that we can categorize the performance related issues and address them completely.
In addition to track the performance issues effectively, it will also enable us to reach out to you in a organised manner when we investigate into each category of performance issues.

We are extremely sorry for the troubles you are facing with InDesign and we are determined to resolve them as efficiently…

Not fixed at all. I'd say I never had so much lag since the last upgrade, just got gradually worse for every update. The only fixed that worked for me is completely shutting off my wifi. Not an ideal solution. Better and better alternatives out there to Adobe.
On another note, and I find this symptomatic for Adobe as a whole., below you are forced to click the "I agree to the storage of my email.." but by clicking this button you aditionally sign up for notifications of product updates... that "You can opt-out of at any time". Adobe has truly became another big ignorant company driven by greed and ignorance. shame.

Anyone can suggest a good substitute to Adobe? Need a professional tool suite which allow an uninterrupted workflow.
