We would require more information for the same. Are you not able to open any InDesign document created from ID19.x version in ID20.0 or is it specifically happening with only a specific document?

I am having the same issue, using windows 11. It's only some files that won't open in 2025, unfortunately I haven't noticed any pattern as to what files will and won't open. When files fail to open, they will pop up in ID 2025 with a long loading bar, and then nothing happens when they "finish loading", it will just show the ID 2025 home screen.
I've had to keep ID 2024 installed in case I run into files I can't open, it's been inconvenient and takes up a lot of memory.

Making adjustments to gradient colors is extremely cumbersome. Right now, I need to make a new swatch in a slightly different color, then drag and drop that swatch into the gradient panel to add it. There is no ability to change the color from the gradient panel itself, which is a basic functionality I expected to find. My swatches panel becomes littered with similar swatches from making small color adjustments. If nothing else, please add the ability to double click one of the gradient colors on the gradients panel, and pull up a submenu where we can select a new color from a color picker, or swatch menu.
